The ACE product portfolio has a wide range of equipment for tidal and fluvial outfall protection from backflow, and in some cases these can be fish friendly to promote natural fish passage to inland watercourses.

In all cases, the non return valves are robust, reliable defences against flooding, even when fish friendly, and require very little head differential to open them – not only do they stop water flowing back up the pipe, they also prevent it backing up due to head loss.
