Wind Pumps
The use of renewable energy to transport water is an economically attractive and environmentally friendly solution especially in areas without a power supply.
The Bosman water pumps are suitable and ideal for pumping large capacities of water at low lifts and require wind velocities starting at only 3 m/s. The environmentally friendly pumps have a number of uses including;
- Drainage of cultivated land.
- Irrigation of cultivated land.
- Water level control in fish ponds, salt pans and nature reserves.
The windmills are available in two different height options and also with different blade lengths. We can advise on these should you have a specific requirement.
They have numerous benefits including a long operational life, modular construction, automatic adjustable level control, no energy costs along with being extremely friendly to the environment.
The pre-fabricated concrete foundation block houses all the pump equipment in a very simple enclosure with a relatively small foot print.
