Hundreds Drain Pumping Station
In the fens, near Crowland, Hundreds Drain pumping station was originally built in 1987 needed an update.
The civils were in good condition. However, the kiosk had seen better days and the mechanical electrical equipment was mostly at the end of its asset life.
ACE were commissioned to remove the existing pumps, MCC, Kiosk, and the moving parts of the weed screen cleaner (trolly and grab) and replace them with new ones.
The pumping station update increases Hundreds Drain Pumping Station asset life. In addition, the updates also ensure fish and eel can pass safely through the pumps. Ensuring we are looking after the bio-diversity of this wonderful fenland. Thanks to all those involved.
