ACE protect Carrs Biscuit factory from flooding

Following the aftermath of the 5 day storm Desmond in 2015, pladis global were brought in to protect Carrs Biscuit Factory in Carlisle. The design of the flood defences was undertaken by Cluttons LLP and ACE supplied and delivered 38 WaStop® non-return valves, 9 actuator controlled ACE penstocks and a local control package to work in tandem with the penstocks.
