ACE garners attention at Pump Centre Conference and FloodEx

People flocked to ACE’s stand with Fish Flow Innovations and Pentair Fairbanks Nijuis to marvel at the Archimedean screw pump and the Axial flow pump on display. The Fish Flow Innovations Archimedean screw pump differs from other modern screws, in that it encloses the screw pump in a vinyl ester pipe, dramatically improving efficiency, design life and noise, and due to an innovative leading edge design, 100% fish friendly. The use of ACE fish friendly pumps eliminates the need for alternative routes of fish passage and deterrent systems to be installed reducing the need for additional civil engineering. The key to the pumps fish friendly operation is the innovative design of both the impeller and guide veins. This creates a comparatively open design that significantly reduces the risk of collision.
 

FloodEx
The FloodEx also proved to be successful as a crowd was drawn to ACE’s stand with Fish Flow Innovations and Pentair Fairbanks Nijuis to witness the live demonstrations of the Archimedean screw pump, the Axial flow pump and WaStop® non-return valves. Also on display were two Habbig tree cutters which have several practical and desirable qualities such as flexible cutting capacities, swivel options and increased gripping. These features not only increase safety of the tree cutter but provide a tailored solution depending on the needs of the client. ACE’s range of products shown meant that ACE had one of the largest displays at the exhibition which acted as a magnet to many.
