Aquatic Control Engineering (ACE) Ltd are recruiting for a Warehouse Assembly Fitter, to join the busy Operations team.

ACE have a purpose-built Warehouse onsite, with daily goods in and goods out procedures, along with daily assembly of mechanical works. The role will incorporate working alongside the Warehouse Supervisor in the running of the Warehouse. Whilst also being part of the Operations team, supporting assembly works of all ACE goods in preparation for shipment.

Due to the nature of this role, the ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated, physically fit as the role has physical demands, they must also have the ability to function well as part of a team and have a tidy and organised work ethic.

Job Role, duties and responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the assembly of items, for dispatch dates with accurate packing ready for delivery
  • Taking delivery of all goods and supplies into the warehouse
  • Preparation of stock and storing/stacking of goods in correct storage areas
  • Assembly of ACE products ready for shipment/installation, liaising with the project engineers and ACE team; ensuring all assemblies are completed to the highest possible standard
  • Using both hand and power tools on a daily basis
  • Forklift machine operation; completing inspections and daily user checks
  • Working to safe systems of work within the warehouse at all times
  • Assisting the Operations team with loading and unloading of site vehicles, preparing for installation works
  • Assisting with the inputting and maintaining of data inventory
  • Keeping the warehouse and work area safe, clean and tidy at all times

The position does have physical Demands:

  • Loading and unloading of goods from vehicles
  • Stacking of goods in correct storage bays
  • HSE working standards and requirements, especially with heavy lifting

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team, with a desire to learn and develop
  • Diligent attention to detail and ability to pack efficiently
  • Attention to health and safety requirements at all times
  • Flexibility
  • Driving License, Full UK Clean driving licence


– previous experience of working in a warehouse engineering function and use of power tools
