No. WRAS certification is typically for commodity plumbing fittings, pipe etc, items that are mass produced in standard sizes. We are compliant to WRAS requirements, but do not have certification.
Water companies do not publish approvals, as they all need to allow competitive and fair tender. However, we are regularly specified for use throughout the UK. We have products installed on sites for Thames Water, Southern Water, Anglian Water, Severn Trent, United Utilities Welsh Water and various others.
ALL our production procedures meet the requirements of UKCA declaration, in that we Risk Assess design for the intended purpose, carry out strength calculations in every case, routinely inspect and peer-review our design and production, keep thorough records for traceability and inspect for final sign off before shipment.
Yes. Our products are manufactured in Stainless Steel 316 and HDPE. Our penstock range has been designed with a non rising spindle to ensure they do not get clocked by rag or debris.
